Hi everyone! I was just reading an email from the American Heart Association. They reminded me that the month may be over, but raising money and awareness doesn't have to.
I was thinking maybe having a "fun fundraiser" event at the clubhouse. Does anyone have any ideas?
Another great charity is the SPCA of Tampa Bay in Largo. They are always involved in rescues all over the Country.
I would LOVE to hear about everyone else's favorite charities, and some ideas on some "fun fundraisers". We have an AWESOME clubhouse! We should put it to good use, have fun, and do some good at the same time!
Maybe we can do something monthly, for different charities. Just something to think about, Blog about, look forward to.
Does anyone know if we have a gardening type club? I could use one! It's almost that time of year, and most of my plants died in the frost.... Karen...any ideas?

Community Introduction
Hello all! Welcome to my new Blog!
This will be an introduction about the neighborhood. We have a newsletter, which is informative. I hope to keep this informative in a lighthearted and informal kind of way. My goal is to get other residents of the community to post comments, suggestions, networking, and positive neighborhood happenings here. Also once I get more educated on blogging and html, I hope to add a directory of sorts.
So here are the basics of the community:
Crescent Oaks Golf and Country Club community is a 24/7 gated and guarded community situated on the East side off of East Lake Road. Just North of Keystone / Tarpon Avenue, and just South of Trinity Boulevard. Easy access to Tampa Airport (25 mins), Fred Howard Park Beach (20 mins), Countryside and Citrus Park Malls (20 mins), and Clearwater Beach (35 mins).
Homes include Estate Homes ranging in price anywhere from $350,000.00 to $1,500,000.00. Maintenance free Villas ranging in price anywhere from $275,000.00 to $450,000.00.
The neighborhood is Oak tree lined streets, intertwined with the BEAUTIFULLY maintained professional golf course. The neighbors are a mix of families and retired professionals. Everyone is EXTREMELY friendly, but don't worry not nosey...LOL. A very pet friendly neighborhood, where everyone knows everyone and their pet's names.
The Country Club is a warm place for the residents to get together. The Chef is AMAZING! Any evening you can see residents getting together in the diningroom or the pub.
